But why these brands?

But why these brands?

Home Depot

REASON: Home Depot has repeatedly allowed ICE agents to patrol and detain workers and customers in its parking lots and stores, usually without presenting judicial warrants or establishing probable cause.

ACTION: Do not visit or buy products sold by Home Depot.

DEMAND: We demand that Home Depot implement a policy banning ICE from patrolling their stores without judicial warrants or probable cause.

ALTERNATIVES: Local hardware stores.

Target

REASON: Home Depot has repeatedly allowed ICE agents to patrol and detain workers and customers in its parking lots and stores, usually without presenting judicial warrants or establishing probable cause.

ACTION: Do not visit or buy products sold by Home Depot.

DEMAND: We demand that Home Depot implement a policy banning ICE from patrolling their stores without judicial warrants or probable cause.

ALTERNATIVES: Local hardware stores.

Amazon

REASON: Amazon Web Services (AWS), a subsidiary of Amazon, functions as a core digital infrastructure provider for ICE and DHS enforcement operations. Through a mix of cloud hosting, data storage, and scalable computing power, AWS enables government-run, mass surveillance systems used to process biometric data, manage detention logistics, and analyze enforcement information. When ICE expands its technological capacity, whether it's scaling data storage or enhancing the operating systems that power mass surveillance software, it does so on cloud infrastructure provided by companies like AWS. Amazon is not an innocent vendor trying to get by, but a structural enabler and primary profiteer of ICE’s racist mass deportation operation.

ACTION: Do not shop at Amazon and seek direct brand purchasing wherever and whenever possible. Supporters are encouraged to contact Amazon in support of these demands.

DEMAND: We demand that Amazon immediately terminate all ICE and DHS immigration enforcement cloud-hosting contracts and that the company publish full transparency reports detailing all DHS-related services it currently provides. Additionally, we're calling on Amazon (and others like it) to adopt a binding human-rights policy that explicitly prohibits future technological support for immigration policing. Finally, we call on Amazon to establish an independent oversight mechanism to ensure compliance with these commitments and provide ongoing public accountability.

ALTERNATIVES:  Bookshop.org & local bookstores; direct-from-brand purchasing; independent retailers.

Whole Foods

REASON: Shopping at Whole Foods doesn’t stop at the checkout line; it feeds directly into Amazon’s broader business model, including AWS, which provides the cloud infrastructure that ICE and DHS rely on to store data, run surveillance systems, and scale enforcement operations. When that private infrastructure funded by consumer-facing brands is used in immigration enforcement operations, consumer dollars become part of the chain that sustains it.

ACTION: Do not shop at Whole Foods for any products. Supporters are encouraged to contact Whole Foods in support of these demands.

DEMAND: We demand that Amazon, the parent company of Whole Foods, immediately end all ICE/DHS immigration enforcement contracts and data hosting that enable deportations while adopting a binding human-rights policy banning support for immigration policing.

ALTERNATIVES: Local farmers market(s)

Spotify

REASON: Spotify streamed paid ICE recruitment ads, giving the agency direct access to millions of listeners. Later, a spokesperson for Spotify confirmed the ads stopped only after the U.S. government recruitment campaign ended in late 2025, not because they made any lasting commitment to reject ICE recruitment ads in the future. Spotify previously defended running the ads as compliant with its policies, meaning the platform was and continues to be willing to accept and distribute ICE advertising. The risk remains that Spotify could, at any moment, reopen its advertising infrastructure to future ICE recruitment campaigns, selling paid access to millions of listeners in order to strengthen ICE’s racist mass deportation operation. As long as that door remains open, so does Spotify’s place on our boycott list.

ACTION: Cancel Spotify subscriptions and email the company explaining why. Continued public pressure is necessary to ensure ICE advertising does not return. Supporters are encouraged to contact Spotify in support of these demands.

DEMAND:We demand that Spotify formally and permanently prohibit ICE recruitment advertising and similar government propaganda from its platform, rather than simply allowing campaigns to expire.

Microsoft

REASON: Microsoft has both expanded and maintained contracts with ICE and other DHS entities to provide cloud computing, data storage, and artificial intelligence capabilities, helping to fuel the creation of a national spyware database. Through the company's Azure cloud platform and related services, Microsoft supplies the digital infrastructure that can be used to process, store, and analyze "enforcement-related" data. These contracts have sparked internal employee protests and public concern about the company’s role in supporting immigration enforcement systems. When a technology company provides scalable cloud infrastructure and artificial intelligence tools to enforcement agencies, it materially expands the reach, speed, and scale of those operations. Multinational corporations cannot claim neutrality while supplying the infrastructure and tools that enable the ICE’s mass deportation agenda. Providing the technology that powers enforcement operations is not passive involvement; it is active participation in sustaining those systems.

ACTION: Consumers should reconsider purchasing new Microsoft hardware and software products where and when feasible. Supporters are encouraged to contact Microsoft and demand the termination of any active or renewed ICE or DHS-related contracts. Universities, nonprofits, labor unions, campaigns, and municipalities should review their procurement relationships with Microsoft Azure and other Microsoft services and publicly clarify whether they are comfortable contracting with a company engaged in immigration enforcement infrastructure.

DEMAND: We demand that Microsoft permanently terminate any ICE or DHS immigration enforcement contracts that provide cloud hosting, artificial intelligence tools, or data-processing services connected to deportation operations. Additionally, we're calling on Microsoft to publish a comprehensive transparency report detailing all DHS-related contracts and services. Microsoft must adopt a binding human-rights policy that explicitly prohibits future technological support for immigration policing. Finally, the company must establish independent oversight to ensure compliance and restore public trust.

Dell

REASON: The government contracting arm of Dell, known as Dell Federal Systems, has provided $18.8 million to “support the office of the chief information officer at ICE, through the purchase of Microsoft enterprise software licenses.” The funding was initially granted in April and is scheduled to expire in the spring of 2026. This isn’t incidental; Dell helps maintain and scale the internal systems ICE relies on to coordinate operations, manage data, and carry out enforcement activities that routinely violate civil liberties and overstep due process. Dell is not just a passive vendor, but an active participant in sustaining the technological backbone being used to target and intimidate immigrant communities.

ACTION: Do not buy Dell products, including laptops or computers. Supporters are encouraged to contact Dell in support of these demands.

DEMAND: We demand that Dell Federal Systems immediately terminate this contract and any plans for future contracts with the DHS.

Motorola

REASON: Motorola Solutions, a subsidiary of Motorala Mobility, remains a major provider of surveillance and “public safety” technology used by federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies, including components that support ICE’s mass deportation operation. The company manufactures and markets license plate recognition systems, AI-enhanced video analytics, real-time monitoring platforms, and integrated data-sharing tools that allow agencies to collect, process, and cross-reference vast amounts of movement and identity information. These tools don’t operate in isolation; they build the foundation of a growing mass surveillance state. License plate readers, AI-powered cameras, and real-time tracking systems allow agencies to monitor movement, store massive amounts of data, and connect that data across jurisdictions. What’s marketed as “public safety technology” can quickly become infrastructure for tracking communities at scale. When corporations like Motorola sell the tools that make mass surveillance possible, they are not neutral; they are helping build the system that expands government surveillance and fuels ICE's mass deportation operation.

ACTION: Consumers should avoid purchasing Motorola Solutions products and encourage institutions to review procurement contracts involving Motorola surveillance technologies. Supporters are urged to contact local governments, universities, transit authorities, and law enforcement oversight boards to request transparency about whether Motorola license plate readers, AI video analytics, or data-sharing platforms are being used in coordination with federal immigration enforcement. Supporters are also encouraged to contact Motorola directly and demand the termination of any active or renewed ICE or DHS-related contracts. Institutions should evaluate whether continued use of such technologies aligns with their civil liberties and human rights commitments.

DEMAND: We demand that Motorola Solutions terminate any contracts that provide surveillance, tracking, or data-sharing technologies to ICE or DHS immigration enforcement operations. Additionally, we demand that Motorola publish full transparency reports detailing all federal immigration-related contracts and interagency data-sharing capabilities. Motorola should also adopt a binding human-rights policy prohibiting the sale of tracking, monitoring, or surveillance technologies to agencies engaged in mass detention or deportation practices. Finally, they must establish independent oversight mechanisms to ensure that their technologies are not used to facilitate civil liberties violations.

Comcast

REASON: In 2025, national reporting revealed that Comcast (and its consumer brand Xfinity) remains among the Fortune 500 companies holding active ICE/DHS contracts. Whether through infrastructure services, data operations, or logistical support, Comcast helps keep ICE’s mass deportation operation running. When a corporation as large as Comcast chooses profit over people, us consumers must choose to divest our dollars.

ACTION: Do not subscribe to Comcast TV or phone services. Switch providers wherever possible. Supporters are also encouraged to contact Comcast directly and demand the termination of any active or renewed ICE or DHS-related contracts.

DEMAND: We demand that Comcast immediately terminate all contracts with ICE/DHS and adopt a transparent, public commitment never to service inhumane immigration-enforcement operations again.

ALTERNATIVES: Local, independent, or municipal/public internet providers.

Xfinity

REASON: Xfinity is one of the largest consumer-facing arms of Comcast, meaning every bill paid helps sustain a corporation with active ICE/DHS contracts in 2025. When millions of working-class people unknowingly fund the infrastructure behind mass surveillance and deportations, both corporate and consumer silence become complicity.

ACTION: Avoid and cancel all Xfinity services, including internet, mobile, home security, and TV. Supporters are also encouraged to contact Xfinity directly and demand the termination of any active or renewed ICE or DHS-related contracts held by their parent company, Comcast.

DEMAND: We demand Xfinity's parent company, Comcast, terminate all ICE/DHS contracts and establish a corporate human-rights standard prohibiting future participation in mass immigration policing.

ALTERNATIVES: Regional or public broadband (where available) providers.
